What does the manufactured housing in plant inspection program do?
|
|
Our State of Oregon inspectors assure:
- Manufacturers follow their approved quality assurance manuals
- Manufacturers follow approved designs (plans)
- Part 3282.362-Manufactured Home Procedural and Enforcement Regulations
- Accordingly, our inspectors not only inspect individual units produced, but assess the
effectiveness of the manufacturer's quality assurance system
|
| |
What don't State of Oregon inspectors do?
|
- They don't approve designs of manufactured homes; this is done by a Design Approval Primary
Inspection Agency (DAPIA). BCD inspectors assure that manufacturers are following
DAPIA approved plans.
