The following comprise the 2007 Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Code adopted by
the state of Oregon:

The 2007 Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code of the American Society of Mechanical
Engineers (ASME), including Section
I; Section II, Parts A, B, C and D; Section IV; Section V; Section VI; Section
VII; Section VIII, Divisions 1, 2 and 3; Section IX; and Section X.
- The 2006 edition of ANSI/ASME
B31.3, Process Piping Code.
- The 2006 edition of ANSI/ASME
B31.5, Refrigeration Piping Code.
- The 2007 edition of NFPA 85,
Boiler and Combustion Systems Hazards Code.

The 2008 Oregon
Electrical Specialty Code (OESC) is based on the 2008 National Electrical Code
with Oregon amendments. Some significant changes include;
- Egress from working spaces around electrical equipment.
- Multi-wire branch circuit requirements for grouping and handle ties.
- Requirements for GFCI and AFCI protection techniques.
- Lighting and receptacle requirements in dwellings.
- Requirements for raceways in wet locations.
- Weather resistant and tamper resistant receptacles.
- Requirements for electrified truck parking spaces.

The 2007 Oregon Elevator Specialty
Code is based on the following:
- The 2007 edition of ASME A17.1, Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators.
- The 2007 edition of ASME A17.2, Inspector's Manual.
- The 2002 edition of ASME A17.3, Safety Code for Existing Elevators and Escalators.
- The 2005 edition of ASME A18.1, The Safety Standard for Platform Lifts and Stairway
Chairlifts.
- The 2003 edition of ASME A90.1, The Belt Manlift Standard.
- The 2005 Oregon Specialty Lift Code, including:
1. Part 1, Vertical Reciprocating Lifts; and
2. Part 2, Portable Wheelchair Lift Code.
- 2007 Oregon amendments.

Park Specialty Code |

2010 Oregon Manufactured Dwelling Installation Specialty Code is developed at the direction
of the Oregon Building Codes Division administrator through the Oregon Manufactured Structures
and Parks Advisory Board. |

The 2008 Oregon Residential Specialty Code (ORSC) contains only the structural and
mechanical provisions. The plumbing and electrical provisions for the ORSC can be found
in the Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code and the Oregon Electrical Specialty Code. The
ORSC is based on the 2006 edition of the International residential Code for One- and
Two- family Dwellings and as further amended by the division with:

The 2007 Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC) is based on the 2006 International
Building Code, and includes amendments that are Oregon-specific. The OSSC covers commercial
construction, certain apartments, transient lodging such as hotels and motels, and
certain residential structures that are subject to licensure by the Oregon Department
of Human Services.
