Any business in Oregon engaged in the work of installing, altering or repairing Boilers, Pressure Vessels, or regulated piping systems, must be licensed as a Boiler Business under ORS
480.630. To apply for the license, the Boiler/Plumbing Business Registration Application must be completed and submitted with the required fee (currently $165).

The company must be first registered with the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board to obtain a boiler business license. For information on how
to register with CCB, contact them at (503) 378-4621.
After submitting your application, you should receive your registration with 21 days.
After registration, and before work is commenced, the company must secure a permit to perform work regulated by the boiler program. These permits are pre-numbered and pre-paid. The cost of each
permit is $17.82. Download request to purchase.
