Statewide e-building permitting program gets "green light."
With the passage of HB 2405, the e-building permit bill, Oregon is the first state in the nation to offer contractors - anywhere in Oregon - one-stop services such as obtaining permits and scheduling inspections. The law is part of Governor Kulongoski's regulatory streamlining initiative.
