| |
|
Purpose
|
| To assist the division in reviewing a temporary rule that creates
an exemption from engineering requirements when designing, planning,
and laying out the electrical portions of a fire protection system.
The purpose of the rules are to allow specified licensed electricians,
employed by an electrical contractor and acting as the contractors
signing supervisor, to design and install noncomplex electrical installations,
including the electrical portions of fire protection systems, without
additional requirements for design or review by a registered professional
engineer. |
