At the November 2005 Electrical and Elevator Policy Committee Meeting the new Electrical and Elevator Board Chair Lowell Arno announced that he planned to appoint new committee members. The Chair and the division would like to thank all those who served on the committee and announce the creation of a new Electrical and Elevator Task Force to replace the old Electrical and Elevator Policy Committee.

Purpose

The Electrical and Elevator Board established the Electrical & Elevator Policy Committee to review state-wide interpretations, Oregon Administrative Rules that affect the electrical industry, apprenticeship standards, proposed continuing education instructors and courses. The Committee carries forward their recommendations to the Electrical and Elevator Board for consideration.

Who may be affected

Electrical Inspectors, Electricians, all Electrical Contractors, Continuing Education Providers, Local Jurisdictions and Apprentices.
