2016 Oregon Inspector Certification renewal and conversion to Oregon code certifications

The deadline to renew an Oregon Inspector Certification (OIC) is Nov. 1, 2016. Administrative rules are proposed to convert International Code Council (ICC) or other nationally recognized certifications to Oregon certifications. Information about the proposed rules is available here. In anticipation of the proposed rule changes, the division began the conversion of ICC certifications to Oregon certifications in its online licensing system. In August, the division will send a renewal letter to each individual that holds an OIC with detailed information.

OIC holders that have moved should notify the division of their new address via this online form. In addition, OIC holders can check their code change classes online to see if they have completed the necessary classes. Learn More.
